Welcome to United Way of Cape Breton
OUR MISSION:
To improve lives and build community on the island of Cape Breton, by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.

The United Way of Cape Breton was founded in 1959 to raise funds for ten local Health and Welfare agencies. At that time, $100,000 was raised. The consistent and growing success of our organization is clearly evident in the community we serve.
We have been building on our strengths, to become to become a strong movement focussed on bringing about measurable and long term change in the communities across Cape Breton.
We want your help to continue to make lasting change in our community.
There are several ways you may get involved including donating as an individual or corporation through payroll deductions, or even volunteering at a special event or a member agency. We greatly appreciate all of the much needed support. Why support the United Way of Cape Breton? ... Because we live here!
